Sarah is a passionate believer in the small creative business, having run several on her own as well as partnering up with other designers.
Being your own boss can be a scary, lonely place. So having someone to hold your hand as you start out is invaluable. Sarah’s experience is in the garden design industry, but many of the business skills she employs apply to a variety of design services: graphic design, web design, interior design, product design.
Sarah offers three mentoring options:

BUSINESS MENTORING
Sarah is a passionate believer in the small business, but being your own boss can be a scary, lonely place. Having someone to hold your hand for the first twelve months is invaluable.
This is a bespoke mentoring program for the small creative business owner, based on 12 modules carried out over 12 months.
These core modules can be tweaked to fit the individual business and lifestyle.
MENTORING OPTIONS
1-2-1 MENTORING
1-2-1 Individual Mentoring takes place once a month, online. Each session is three hours long (with a short comfort break!) and we work together for 12 months.
This allows you to time to continue to run and build your business, or work and plan the set up of your own business.
Setting up and running your own business can feel like a big mountain to climb. So I work with you to set appropriate goals and implement a clear and effective plan to make it happen. Among other things we discuss processes, marketing, finances, communications…. The sessions are personally tailored to your needs but it is up to you to be proactive.
Like a book seller: I can sell you the book but I can’t make you read it.
ONLINE GROUP MENTORING
THE BUSINESS PROPAGATOR is an online group mentoring programme for small groups of 8-10 designers.
We meet once a month for 6 months. Each session is two hours long, with preparation work beforehand.
We will discuss key business subjects such as
Goal setting
Processes
Clients & Marketing
Finances
Effective Communications
Growing the Business
You will be able to send in specific questions too so there is a bespoke element to each group.
QUARTERLY CHECK IN SESSIONS
If you already have a business up and running and want some help focussing on specific areas then this might be just what you need.
Online help and advice every three months.
